I think all the reference I made to that was in the last drabble of the Elemental series:
They know all the arguments against their match already: he's old enough to be her father, and her job has made her into a sword always unsheathing, a magnet for danger. But age is no obstacle for her, and he has faced velociraptors; their love is what matters.
So he'd have to be familiar with them, at least in theory. But largely uncurious unless she's on a major hunt, in which case, he'd probably just tell her she'd better damned well be prepared, and come back to him afterward. He'd be a very solid anchor for her, I think. =)
