I think it's just the fact that people tend to avoid Buffy/Mummyverse crossovers? Most of the ones I've found so far are the "Xander turns out to be Medjai" or "thrown back in time" variety, and certainly not "Imhotep isn't as bad as you think he is" fics, LOL.

But then, the well-trodden path is seldom the one that draws my attention. *shrugs* I'm just glad I'm not the only one interested in where my ideas are headed!
