Faster's really just one long meditation on revenge, forgiveness, and coming to terms with oneself, starring The Rock. Not a 'great' movie, but a lot more focused than many that make it to the cinema these days.

I usually try to include enough detail for the story to hang together with more obscure crossoves like these; it's the best compliment, when I get "I don't know the other canon, but..." reviews like this! I've been wanting to write a partially-reincarnated Buffy story together, and this movie just clicked perfectly into place timeline-wise for a background on that.

(I really, really want to write more of this, with Connor and Claire and her daddy as Watcher; but I'll have to rewatch me some season 4 of Angel for that. And that's way, way down my list of priorities.)
