Thank you! I hadn't planned on writing a DADT-ending story, but I was just doodling away in a meeting and there it was in my mind's eye, Paul staring at Daniel across a briefing room table and suddenly realizing possibilities.
I struggle with the slash thing a little mostly because about half my flist is Christian/conservative, a lot of whom know me in real life; and other people, including parents and work supervisors, know where this blog is located even if they're not really into the fanfic thing. I'm sick and tired of real-life conversations like, "Oh, I won't watch Amazing Race anymore because they have gay people on it all the time now", and (re: various legal changes) "I think it's ridiculous; don't they have enough privileges already?" Even when they know I don't share the same opinions. I really don't want to pollute my fun fanspace with all of that drek.
But I can't not share my writing, either. So. So far, I'm leaving the slash tagged stories unlocked. Hopefully, that won't have to change.
