You'll have to forgive my first impressions: I thought this would be an utterly bizarre crossover. {grin} It really works, though, certainly from the SG:1 & LotR side: I can see the Faramir to Daniel cross in their steadiness, wisdom & determination. I'm not sure Daniel's as physically coordinated as Faramir, though! {smirk}
I can even see Eowyn as an early Slayer, caged in by position and birth that won't allow her to be the warrior maid she longs to be. And the possibilities of Watchers Council/Go'auld interactions make perfect sense.
The only thing I may not quite see is Buffy feeling the same as Eowyn and/or falling for Daniel. {ponders} I think Daniel may be a bit too nice to really catch her interest, at least as the shows presented her. "She likes a bit of monster in her man" and all...
