Thank you; you don't know how much it warms my heart to hear that. I've been in love with these characters for twenty-five years, though I never dared write them before; it's so much fun to play with them now that they've been taken out of the box and brought back to life again.

Hee. I always loved the bits in old!Trek when Nimoy's Spock would comment derisively via eyebrow on whatever Kirk was neck-deep in; there's a lot going on under that Vulcan facade. It's fun applying that to the new!Spock; he's a little rougher around the edges, but that whole "roaming the corridors weeping" speech to Bones, &hearts! Loved that.
