Yay for hooking family on Trek! I succeeded with my brother's fiancée, which made him very happy. Considering he'd just bought the full first season of old Trek on BlueRay. I think he plans on subjecting all of us to them when he gets back here on leave before the wedding. *grin*

I first ran into cutesy namesmushing in Buffy fandom, but it's overrun the internets with the outspred of "ooh, pretty" fen for years now. I even saw someone seriously referring to that particular pairing as "Kock" the other day. *shudder*
