Thanks! I appreciate your comments. I rewatched several Old Trek episodes and read a few books before tackling this, to try to get the best blend. New Kirk is pretty and bright; but Old Kirk can't be matched for command instinct and cunning. He's been my favorite Trek Captain since I was about five years old. *grin*
