First of all, thank you for participating in [livejournal.com profile] not_primetime! I look forward to reading my gift.

Please don't stress; I'm easy to please. Whatever you enjoy writing? I'll probably enjoy reading. I like people with layers, and watching them engage with each other is always a good time for me, whatever they're up to. I am equally pleased by stories written close to canon, or divergent AUs, or crossovers with other shows/movies/books I know. I only have a few no-go's, which I'd prefer you avoid: incest, deliberate betrayal of trust between partners, humiliation, and non-consensual sex. Anything else from fluff to angst is OK, as long as the plot resolves upward somehow (I prefer not to close a story feeling depressed).

If you want to stalk me, this is my main journal; my fic index post is at DW, or you can find me at faviconjedibuttercup.

So, down to the details - FAST AND THE FURIOUS, SLEEPY HOLLOW, CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK )

I hope I've given you some things to be thoughtful about, rather than boxing you in. Just have fun writing whatever you're writing, and I'll love whatever you give me. Thank you again!

Gen; Battle Creek/Allstate Commercials, 1,300 words. Post-series. For communitychocolateboxcomm Round 1.

Milt blinked at the sight Russ presented. The detective was wearing a rumpled black suit that Milt didn't think he'd seen him in before; his hair was disheveled and looked longer than usual, and he sported a white butterfly bandage above one brow.

jedibuttercup: Russ & Milt from Battle Creek (battle creek)
T; Battle Creek, 10,000 words. Post-series, sort of case-fic, friendshippy. Fic #1 for Yuletide 2015.

The drive to the residence of one Gregory R. Jones, septuagenarian of mysterious origin, followed much the same pattern as similar ride-alongs had before: filled with idle bickering and speculations on the case, with the exception of a marked lack of the bitter undertones that had plagued their partnership since the beginning. As if everything had changed underneath, without changing on the surface at all.

First of all, thank you for participating in [livejournal.com profile] not_primetime! I look forward to reading my gift.

In general, I prefer something mainly focused on character interaction and/or plot, rather than PWP. But for theme: romance, humor, scifi, action, domestic moments, whatever you enjoy writing? I'll probably enjoy reading. I like people with layers, and watching them engage intelligently with each other is always a good time for me, whatever they're up to. Though I do have a few squicks, which I'd prefer you avoid: incest, deliberate betrayal of trust between partners, character humiliation, and non-consensual sex. Otherwise angst is OK, as long as it's resolved somehow (I prefer not to close a story feeling depressed).
